Is participation free of charge?
YouthPowerEU activities are generally offered free of charge to selected participants.
Specific conditions may vary depending on the activity. Where travel, accommodation or other participation costs are covered, this will be clearly explained in the relevant call or event information.
Can young people from all European countries participate?
Participation depends on the specific activity and its eligibility criteria. In general, you must live in Italy or Greece to become a YouthPowerEU Ambassador.
YouthPowerEU has a European dimension and aims to create opportunities for young people from different countries and backgrounds to exchange perspectives, learn from one another and contribute to discussions about the future of European democracy. Each call will specify the countries, age groups and other eligibility requirements.
What kind of activities does YouthPowerEU organise?
YouthPowerEU includes a combination of learning, participation and dialogue activities, including workshops, training sessions, consultations, discussions, collaborative activities, events and opportunities to engage with other young people and relevant stakeholders.
Some activities may take place online, while others may be organised in person.
How can I participate?
Participation opportunities will be published on the YouthPowerEU website and through the project’s communication channels.
Depending on the activity, you may be able to participate in training sessions, events, consultations, workshops, surveys, discussions or other youth engagement opportunities.
When an application or registration is required, the relevant information, eligibility criteria and deadlines will be clearly indicated.

Who is YouthPowerEU for?
YouthPowerEU is primarily designed for young people who want to better understand European democracy, make their voices heard and contribute to decisions that affect their communities and their future.
The project also involves youth organisations, civil society organisations, educators, facilitators, institutions and other stakeholders working to strengthen youth participation and democratic engagement.
Do I need previous experience in politics or youth participation?
No. You do not need any previous political, institutional or advocacy experience to participate.
YouthPowerEU is designed to be accessible to young people with different backgrounds, levels of knowledge and experiences. Whether you are already active in a youth organisation or simply curious about how democracy works, you can take part.
Do I need to belong to a political party?
No. YouthPowerEU is focused on democratic participation, civic engagement and youth empowerment. Participation in the project does not require membership of any political party or political organisation. The project is apartitical and we will engage young people regardless of their political views. The project aims to create inclusive spaces where young people can learn, exchange views and engage constructively with democratic processes. The project does not exist to promote a particular political party or candidate. Its purpose is to help young people understand democratic processes, develop their own informed opinions and participate more effectively in civic and political life.
Can organisations collaborate with YouthPowerEU?
Yes. Youth organisations, civil society organisations, educational institutions, public bodies, networks and other stakeholders interested in youth participation and democracy may be able to collaborate with the project.
Potential collaborations can include outreach, events, expertise, dissemination, stakeholder engagement and other forms of cooperation aligned with the objectives of YouthPowerEU.
Can I use YouthPowerEU resources for my organisation or initiative?
Many of the resources published through YouthPowerEU are designed to help young people, youth workers and organisations strengthen youth participation and democratic engagement.
Where resources are publicly available, the relevant page will indicate how they can be accessed and whether any specific conditions apply to their reuse.
